Title IX

West Covina Unified School District ("WCUSD") Title IX Regulations
Education Amendments of 1972

“No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance”

The West Covina Unified School District is committed to providing equal opportunities for both sexes in all educational programs and activities which it conducts, and for employees and applicants for employment.

Equality of opportunity for both sexes in all programs and practices is a fundamental goal of the West Covina Unified School District. For students, this means that educational programs and activities must be free from policies and practices, which discriminate on the basis of sex. Our schools will continually evaluate their practices in terms of equal opportunity. Programs and practices will be changed when necessary to bring them into compliance with Title IX Regulations.
