HOSA - Future Health Professionals
West Covina High School’s HOSA chapter is a student-led organization that prepares future health professionals through leadership development, technical skill training, and community service. As part of a national career and technical student organization, we strive to inspire, educate, and empower students pursuing careers in the health sciences.
What We Do
- Career Exploration: Workshops, guest speakers, and field trips
- Competitions: Local, state, and national events in over 50 health science categories
- Community Outreach: Blood drives, health fairs, and awareness campaigns
- Leadership Development: Officer training, team building, and public speaking opportunities

HOSA State Leadership Conference 2025
- Michael Piatos – Qualified in Health Career Photography
- Sophia Medina – Qualified in Research Poster
- Jedrek Uy – 9th place in Physical Therapy
- 15 students attended workshops and networking events including suturing labs and sound therapy.
