What is AVID?
The AVID Elective class is designed to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in college and beyond. It focuses on teaching organizational techniques, critical thinking, and study skills while also providing support and encouragement to help students stay on track. AVID classes are typically geared towards students who are motivated to improve their academic performance and aim for higher education, but might need extra help or resources to reach their goals. In essence, AVID provides a structured pathway for students to achieve their full potential and prepare for future success.
