West Covina High School’s new Performing Arts Academy, launching in fall 2020. The Academy will be supported by a new 650-sea

West Covina Unified will establish the next premier performing arts academy in Southern California, empowering students to delve into their creative potential, gain insight from industry professionals and prepare for a future in the arts.

Madison Perez was selected to play as a center back for the U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team.

Since the age of 4, West Covina High School senior Madison Perez has poured her time, dedication and passion into soccer – checking into a frame of mind every day that inspires her to push her limits –and her dream is being realized as a center back for the U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team.

West Covina Student Short Film Festival

The West Covina Film Festival is accepting short films completed by youth (ages 12-18) as part of a contest to have one shown during this year's film festival. Films must be school appropriate and only up to six minutes in length. Continue to article for more details.

West Covina Unified Named to 9th Annual AP District Honor Roll

WEST COVINA, CA – West Covina Unified School District was named to the College Board’s ninth annual Advanced Placement (AP) District Honor Roll, marking its success in promoting college readiness and academic achievement among traditionally underrepresented students.

WCHS Open House 2019

West Covina High School will have their 2019 Open House on February 21 from 5pm to 8pm.

The unveiling of the plaque at Thyberg Field

On Tuesday, the Board of Education unveiled the plaque for the re-dedication of the newly renovated Thyberg Field at WCHS.  Former Board Member Jessica C. Shewmaker and Principal Ryan D’Errico were on hand for the event.

The West Covina High School Air Force Junior ROTC program hosted their 14th annual Veterans Day Ceremony today, honoring all veterans for their service.
