The traditional on-campus summer school program will not be feasible with “stay at home” and social distancing orders in place for the foreseeable future. As a result, we will be partnering with the Options for Youth (OFY) public charter organization to provide online academic courses at Edgewood and West Covina High Schools to support student learning.
This form should ONLY be completed if a high school student has chosen to receive a letter vs. Credit/No Credit grade for one or more courses that he/she is currently enrolled in. The student’s level of participation in the Remote Learning Plan may be used to enhance but not penalize a student’s letter grade. This form must be submitted by Friday, May 15, 2020. Owing to the challenges that our students are facing due to dismissal, the WCUSD will be implementing some temporary changes in grading practices to provide equity and flexibility for our students and teachers for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.
