Parents and Students,
West Covina High School is happy to announce that we will be providing students in grades 9-11 the opportunity to take the Preliminary SAT (PSAT) on our campus on November 2, 2016 during the school day.
The test helps students gauge their college and career readiness and gives them exposure to what the actual SAT will require of them. Additionally, students will be provided with information about potential AP courses that they might be successful in based on their scores and our 11th grade students will automatically be screened for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Students can take practice tests and get more information about preparing for the exam at http://preview.tinyurl.com/WCHSPSATPREP.
****Please remind your student to bring a calculator on the day of the test. The following calculators are allowed: Graphing Calculators and Scientific Calculators.
Attached is the modified bell schedule for November 2nd. Please read and make note of the schedule changes for that day; In addition, Seniors will have a modified schedule specific to them.
If you should have any questions, please contact Assistant Principal, Dr. Leon at email@example.com or Barbara Rivera at firstname.lastname@example.org.
